Activity Spotlight: Who Pooped? A Matching & Memory Game
by Taryn Alper, MA, CCC-SLP/TSSLD
You know what makes children laugh? Talking about poop. Luckily for us therapists and educators, there are plenty of fun poop games on the market!
Today I’m sharing my success with the game Who Pooped? A Matching & Memory Game (Amazon affiliate link). Players take turns matching the animal cards to the poop cards. The full game is to match all 54 cards, but you can use as many or as little cards as your student or group can handle. Who Pooped? is recommended for ages 3+.
Who Pooped? targets the following skills:
Articulation/speech sound disorders/apraxia
During teletherapy, I’ve had so much fun pairing this game with Bjorem Speech Sound Cues. This game was made for the /p/ sound. You can see the popcorn sound cue featured in my photos.
Use a carrier phrase as appropriate.
